Our son has finished his course at college and he is looking at some seasonal work along the lines of Summer camp work in the US. Just wondered if some of you on here had embarked on this type of work and any lessons learned or advice you could offer us? Thx

Anyone heard of or dealt with Wildpacks American Summer camp

I'll reply as no one else has yet. I worked a summer after finishing uni, did retail work in Rehoboth Beach Delaware. Was a brilliant experience and can thoroughly recommend it. Lessons learned - America is a big old place and though they speak the same language as us it is definitely a different country! Advice - he should do it!

Under the visa, he won't be paid, but get 'pocket money'. It won't help save for uni, if he's going, but it can be great. I didn't enjoy it much, but most people do.
