Scottish mountaineering course

Hi guys,

there's obviously loads of course websites out there, but in a way i'd prefer to go with an individual small business. Basically my goal of the course is learn about using ice axe, self arrest, avalanche procedure, crampons, rope work etc etc. Anyone recommend someone please? Pref a 2/3 days long weekend this winter would be best for me being picky!

In reply to stevetaylor20: I would thoroughly recommend Talisman Activities near Aviemore Steve. Ron normally has winter courses varying in length from weekends to week long. I've been on a couple of Ron's climbing and Alps courses and found him to be an excellent instructor who'll tailor things to your needs. All round solid bloke.
