Ty Newydd Crag Dyserth - no access.

We've been informed by a local climber that the farmer and pheasant breeder who owns this crag has requested that climbers do not use the crag at all during the next few weeks as apparently climbing activity here may be disturbing the roosting pheasants.

Please respect this temporary restriction until further negotiations and a longer term agreement can be agreed.

Might be worth getting a temporary sign on the approach as not everyone will see this thread.

Good shout about the signs. it would show we are being pro-active. I dont mind popping down there to put a few signs up. Elfyn if you wish to contact me about this, don't hesitate to do so

Following a meeting with the landowner this morning he has agreed that climbing can continue here - but subject to a seasonal restriction.

Climbing is now not allowed at all between October 1st and January 31st.
