Come along to a lavishly illustrated talk, with stunning images and video footage by local mountaineer, Ian Ridley of mountain-skills.com. Ian will be vividly describing the ups and downs of his recent trips over the last three years, including his climb of Ama Dablam, at 6,858m and often referred to as the Matterhorn of the Himalayas, and his attempts to scale Mount Everest by both the North Ridge and South Col routes.

The talk will take place at the Newman A Lecture Theatre at Exeter University from 7.30pm on November 8.
Tickets are available either online or in person from Taunton Leisure, Fore Street, Exeter.
