The long awaited small claims court for copyright infringement is now a reality. Since 1 October the Patents County Court can hear copyright cases up to £5,000.

I am, and it'll make life a lot easier, fingers-crossed. I've got a repeat offender in mind who I'd more than love to bankrupt next time they poach one of my pics (far-right blog run by a fat old football hooligan, a shameless photo thief, and not likely to have the money to pay up without going completely tits-up)

No never needed it as yet. I've used the standard small claims court once re an outstanding debt - the problem was it still didn't result the money off them. They just ignored the court and vanished

Am wondering if I should ask what sort of photos it is your taking for said person to be interested I'm guessing its not kittens.
