Hi all

I have new skis and bindings and need to join them together. Given the amount of money they cost, I've decided it's not a job I want to tackle so need to get them into a shop. The only place in Wales I can think of that does any ski touring gear is Up & Under in Cardiff but as I never really go near Cardiff, I was wondering if anyone could recommend other shops either in Wales or maybe nearby eg Midlands/North West?

Thanks

Tom

In reply to Tom Hutton:

Ellis Brighams in Chester/Manchester or Liverpool should do them. Phone ahead first to make sure the correct jig is available.

There used to be a pretty good guy in Blackpool. A bit out of the way but you can combine it with a trip to buy proper rock

In reply to Tom Hutton: "edge and wax" Do a service where you send the skis in... worth looking into. As you know they're not going to screw it up.

What make bindings are they?

In reply to Tom Hutton: Another solution, depending where and when you are skiing next, take them to resort and get them sorted the night before

In reply to Tom Hutton: I don't think Up and Under do ski gear, in fact?

Anyway a good place is Anything Technical, in Kendal - very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Not exactly on your back door, but don't you visit those parts occasionally?

Try Stephen who works in Cotswold (main branch, not Rockbottom Betws Y Coed) He runs his own company called ski-drop...on the web too.
