I spend most of my indoor time at Preston but last weekend I went to Kendall and I have to say that I was exceptionally impressed with how its grown.

What can I say, I don't get out much, or visit walls that often.

As the OP states, what's out there for me to visit that is as Good as if not better?

In reply to The Lemming: Manchester climbing centre has good routes & great architecture. Two bouldering areas, lots of lead walls, traverse room, campus boards etc. I think it's the best in the north west.

Kendal is actually very good. I really like Ingleton too for a change, much smaller with a nice atmosphere.

Awesome walls is big with some high lead walls though sometimes the grades can be a bit strange

I am a fan of Manchester Climbing Centre when I get a chance to go, Rock Over is great for bouldering and really big whilst for the biggest bouldering centre I've been to in the NW is The Liverpool one (Climbing hanger)

In reply to fozmeister:

I'm not exactly a fan of bouldering.

And so as not to offend the pebble hoppers, I'd appreciate lead wall options.

AWs stockport is very good, as is MCC.

When I saw the title I immediately thought of Kendal. I liked Stockport too and Leeds.....
