Hello having read the great article on waterproof and breathable can you answer this.
I had two Sprayway windblock fleeces that worked well for a time. They have both failed i think due to using detergent which they did not say dont use !!!
It was a fleece with no visible or stiff membrane and i think it worked by chemical action not mechanical membrane .
I have now replaced with mountain warehouse Tornado fleece ofd similar soft nature.
How do these non membrane windproof breathable fleeces work ? they dont seem to fit any of the types you list.
