Sorry for the lag:

Today i took 100 kids from school to see HUGO.

A wonderful little film that paid homage to many films and filmakers..

I felt that the sets in particular put me in mind of Gilliam while the overall setting in Paris had the Gallic charm of a Junet film.

What were your impressions of the film?

Just curious?

In reply to Fly Fifer: Loved it! I have it on 3d blu-ray and it's stunningly beautiful. Agree with the Jeunet-feel, and I thought it a fitting homage to the fantastical early cinema it was celebrating.
