Cheap WInter Destinations Abroad

Hi Just wondering where people would prefer to go.

Ive been Norway twice and Chamonix Ice Climbing.

Has anyone been Sweden / Finland and views?

Looking for it to be funfilled with lots of routes & cheapish etc

In reply to sdawson1: Austria...i fly stansted - linz with ryanair for about £50 return and sometimes cheaper than that..if you can wear your winter gear to fly an only take handluggage its loads cheaper...loads of cold stuff to go at once your there

Really?

Last time I looked, my passport had 'United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland' embossed on the front....

On a more serious note, isn't Slovenia supposed to be a good winter ice destination?
I haven't been, but I know Easyjet do (or did) cheap flights there.

In reply to sdawson1: I live in Wales and most people 'say' they are going abroad when stepping over the border.

Thanks for Slovenia idea will have look. I've been put onto Cogne in Italy which I will also look into.
