I had the privilege to work for the MCofS on this year's Student Safety Weekend at Glenmore Lodge.
Not only was the Lodge in fine form: staff welcoming, friendly and helpful, food superb and accommodation equal to a quality hotel but the students were an excellent crowd too.
As with any group of walkers, climbers and mountaineers, this young crowd had a vast range of experience and talent but the one common factor was to see that our sport is in good hands.
These folk were keen to learn, wanted to know more and try skills out. They were enthused by Chadder's wonderful Illustrated Tales of his recent climbing and most importantly, amongst their number there was a fair few who could party hard....and be back, standing-up ready for the next day!
Thanks for being such willing participants,
