Hullo gang.

Back in 2008 I climbed a route about 70m long around the Buachaille and I'm trying to verify the info.

Walking up from Lagangarbh via Coire na Tulaich, before reaching the last drag up to the ridge there is a buttress up on the right hand side sitting above the snowfield. I climbed a route up the middle of this buttress (about 70m and did it in 3 pitches).

I was under the impression this was called Chimney Route and graded II/III but I have been unable to find any record of it in any of the guides.

Any clues guys?

It is in the Cicerone Nevis & Coe book.

Chimney Route, 80m, II/III

To the right (west) of the descent col are two buttresses split by a narrow chimney. This is the climb."

In reply to Rampikino: The SMC Glen Coe guide has a descpription of Chimney route which sounds very similar to yours. P108.
