 Topic - Himalayan Trekking

| Next year my sister and I, both in our early 60s and in good condition, are thinking of a trekking trip to somewhere in the Himalayas. We'd like to visit a place which has stunning scenery, friendly natives and interesting local colour. We have no preference for which country, but do want to avoid all those bloody tourists. So, where do we look? Suggestions please. |
