/ Ice in Spain
Looking at winter plods coupled with a few Scottish 3/4 ice .
If you know any guides that you could recommend would be good too.
Any help would be great.
Which bit of Spain??
Some good ice in the Sierra Nevada.
Also some good routes on the north face of Mulhacen.
I can point you at some good gullies in the upper Rio Lanjaron most have probably never had winter ascents!
There are a couple of other guidebooks to winter climbing in the Spanish Pyrenees here: http://www.needlesports.com/Catalogue/Books-Maps-DVDs/Foreign-Climbing-Guides/Europe/Spain/Pyrenees
Thanks for all the info will check it all out.Im not limited to travel, will go where ever there is snow.
Would like to stay in Spain just for somewhere else to tick off.
Bielsa, Benasque, Andorra, Sierra De Gredos, Sierra Nevada, and Val De Boi.
Spanish side of the Pyrenees
Just as soon as you exit the Bielsa tunnel on the Spanish side, there are a multitude of easily accessable routes !
Thanks again, when i asked for guides I meant mountain guides,im struggling for a climbing partner so wanted to hire a guide but would like a recommend instead of using the normal website.
