Anyone heading up to the dinner and Russian climbing symposium this weekend?

A few of us will be there - Sticky Dave has got his sparkly boobtube and rara skirt out. I'm not sure what the dress code is so Scouse Martin and I are playing it safe and coming as Batman and Robin.

In reply to John Rushby:

No, but I am off to the Mazeno Ridge event at Rheged on Sunday. I know that isn't what you asked, but hey ho. :)

In reply to Andy Mountains:

Might see you there then, although the forecast is looking promising so if it is a case of bright, crisp winter day on the fells then that's were I'm headed.

Saved me a job - was going to ping you a note on Farcebook.

See you there - Martin has big ideas about climbing Kamchatka - I have bought him a gas mask for Crimbo especially

I'll keep an eye out and say hello.

I'm pretty nondescript but my mate has made starey eyes and looks like Marcus Brigstock so easy to spot.

See you there. Is the dress code jacket and tie for those lacking in the boob tube/superhero department?
John Rushby - on 30 Nov 2012
In reply to jhw:

I think it is jacket and tie.

pants optional.
In reply to John Rushby: Not managed to get through to AC office, by email or phone...any idea if I can get tickets for the Symposium on the door?

In reply to carrot_boy (North East Wales MC):

Yes, you can. No problem.

In reply to jhw: I enquired about the dress code and was told it was "smart casual" which is anything that's not black tie! =o)

I'm not going to the Russian symposium but doing the evening do and the Nanga Parbat talk on the Sunday. Looking forward to it!
In reply to Mick Fowler: Cheers Mick, Guess I'll see you tomorrow.
