ropes stuck on savage slit

Hi,

After climbing savage slit in mint conditions we Abbed off at the top of t he difficulties... only for our ropes to jam. If anyone is in the area tomorrow a rope down from the top to free the stuck ropes would be much appreciated. That's got to be worth a pint or three.

You'll want to be early mind, or the ropes might well be gone.

How did you manage it, thats a minto ab station?

No idea how they got stuck, set up ab with knots over the edge and could see that they are free. A mystery... that will probably be solved by some prussicing or the like.

You didn't abseil down the chimney, did you? There have been loads of ropes stuck that way. You're supposed to abseil down Prore.
