x Topic - FS: Shell and Primaloft jackets for sale

x by - Albert ? on - 04 Dec 2012 - user since 22/Nov/10
Price: £30
Hi,

Getting rid of these, surplus to requirements.

1. The North Face Redpoint Optimus jacket- From a few seasons ago, but hardly used. No signs of wear and tear, only used for skiing in resorts as a layer so no real use. It is Medium Mens in brown/light brown. Primaloft filler. Has a full helmet compatible hood. Double zip for belaying. Ideally looking for offers in excess of £30 due to its good condition.

2. Salomon Gore-tex Paclite shell. I am not sure of the model as i won this one and forgot what they said it was but i remember it retailed for about £180. To be honest it wasn't much use to me as it has no pit vents and i didn't like that for what i do. Just warning you incase it would be annoying to you too. On the other hand (because of its lack of suitability) it has again, maybe been warn around town just a handful of times. This means you'll get a hardly used gore-tex jacket for cheap. Again, offers in excess of £30. Size Large mens

3.A Mountain Equipment Co-Op (NOT MOUNTAIN EQUIPMENT) goretex XCR shell. This is not the british brand, but the famous (in canada) canadian brand. They do top gear. Check em out if you've never heard of them. This one has had a bit more use, but the membrane still works a treat just some minor cosmetics mud stains etc. Proabably come up nicely after a wash. ideally offers in excess of £20 for this one. size medium mens.

4.This is not totally relevant but i also found some Carhartt work trousers in the clear out. They are nearly indestructable. They have some paint stains on the fronts but other than that, if they are anything like other carhartts i've had you may be looking at another 5 years or so of hard work use yet. They are too big for me now. Not outdoor trousers but, whatever, you never know who's reading! size 32" waist. £20 ish.

Let me know if you want to see any photos. If you do want any of these, i'll post them out. Think its probably about £4 through Royal Mail. I'll leave em up here for a week and if i don't get a decent offer, i'll bung em on ebay.

Cheers

Andy
