Really enjoyed some drytooling today (not Millstone ) and figured a pair of these would be really useful. Unfortunately I have no idea how much they cost or where they are sold. Anyone have any useful advice on the topic?
Thanks

In reply to Somerset swede basher: They are not bought or sold, they seem to just come in to existence.

possibly traded for magic beans in dingy pub corners ?

Pete.
In reply to Somerset swede basher:

I was thinking you could easily make a pair out of some old boardlasted climbing shoes and the front part of some crampons bolted on to them. just need to source some crampon parts to make mine!

Boreal Ice Mutant?

If you have the spare cash ofcourse...

In reply to bouldery bits:

Quite a lot more than I was expecting/hoping for! Maybe constructing a pair is the way forward.

In reply to Somerset swede basher:

they are sold by the ghosts of forgotten drytoolers at the crossroads after midnight.

how much? we all know that...

(tho most climbers disguise these facts and say they got theirs online from la sportiva for about $800 a pair)
