This is a literary competition that complements the annual Edinburgh MFF that happens every October. Well I have never considered entering such a competition before, but after a number of weeks hard work, I had the outline of what I considered was an interesting article concerning a dramatic days climbing in the Scottish mountains, and duly entered the above competition. I didn't expect to win, but liked the idea of seeing some of my work in print, or being read by other like-minded souls. The weeks passed, the Fstival passed, after which I have heard precisely nothing. I have mailed both the MCof S and the EMFF but still no response. It rather strikes me as why the f*** did I ever bother to enter, if they can't even have the decency to repond to my numerous enquiries, let alone publish what exactly was decided?
