I've just watched the live interview with the medical examiner in Newtown Connecticut, it was on Sky News, don't know if anyone else saw it. The guy was a complete kn*b. He came across as bulllish and arrogant, but worse of all his answers and attitude was flippant beyond belief. His overall handling of the interview was awful, and luckily eclipsed the banality of the questions from the press. There were a few people in the background visibly squirming, and I couldn't understand why one of the senior police officers didn't step in to cut the interview short. Appaling.

Did anyone else see it, what did you think?

In reply to rocky57:

had no idea of decorum

in parts he was good but the joke when asked why its him doing the examinations and not one of his staff

"It was my weekend" was terrible

Not sure what you are getting at. He seemed quite upset at a couple of points in the interview. What did you want?

In reply to Dauphin:

As just said total decorum, that would have been nice. No quips or jokey replies. He didn't do the seriousness of the situation justice.

Perhaps I just have high standards.
