just wondering if anyone knows the price per day for a cairngorm ski lift pass?

£32.50. Depends on conditions whether it's worth it. The one time I have paid this year it was well worth it.

....and yes camping is an option but not sure I would consider it a good one. Forking out a tenner for hostel accommodation might be more comfortable.

I live in Inverness so it's only 30 miles for me. I use my campervan often but there are multiple places to stay in Aviemore.

Closer to the slopes and at the bus stop (which beats the trafic) is CairnGorm Lodge, the youth hostel. Glenmore Lodge is also about 10 minutes walk from the road and they have cabins you can hire.

Campervan, but not parked at the top car park in case they close the road and we're stranded! Before we had the van, it was a hostel in town, but that got pricey!
