does anyone know where to buy sheets of rubber (not re-sole kits) for re-soling climbing shoes (Vibram XS Grip2 or Stealth C4). family climbing is getting a bit expensive...

... once. It's crap.
I dread to think how it would fare resoling a whole boot considering its total lack of ability to effect even minor repairs.

To op - have you resoled boots before? If not you might find this turns out to be an even more expensive solution than just buying new boots.

Hi,

Give Torquil at Llanberis resoles a serious consideration. He is very reasonably priced and recently did a very good job on resoling my Miruas at a very reasonable price. I got two pairs of shoes resoled and including p&p both ways plus a new toe rand on one shoe it came in at £75.

In reply to jrb: Will happily second the recomendation for Torquil. Alos he may know where to buy sheets or may even sell you a sheet if you are determined to do it yourself?

You can buy the rubber from these guys in germany: http://www.extremtextil.de/catalog/Accessories/Sole-rubber-sheets:::23_88.h...

However by the time you've paid for postage and glue you won't be far off sending them to Torquil.
