 Topic - Kalymnos long term?

Has anyone been out there long term? I'm thinking about renting a full apartment for six months (not the usual bed and hotplate). Has anyone had any experience of this? I have looked at a few sites and it seems to be dirt cheap; usually about 300 euros for what I think is a month?! Is that my awful understanding of Greek or the norm?
