x Topic - google affiliate network??

I have a blog and I keep getting messages saying that I'm eligible to join the google affiliate network. I signed up for it, but can't work out how to add the affiliate links to my blog.

The other thing that I don't get is do the adds have to be relevant to my blog? My blog is about a very specific subject (RC drones and First Person View flying) so there's not much point in my advertising hair products or holidays is there?
