Hi All

Thinking of planning a solo Patagonia trip.

I was hoping to find a guide when I got there. Would that be possible if I just arrived in Chalten and tried to find someone? Any idea on the costs of a guide?

I assume I wouldn't need to take any rack if I was being guided?

Yep, you'll find a guide when you're there. There's a few companies and independents. I've used Pedro Fina twice before. He is super nice and very good company. Let me know if you'd like his email address.
