Winter's DEFINITELY back with a vengeance now, long may it stay!! Unless you live in the South West of England or Wales. I think they've got as much winter as they can handle...!!!

In reply to Gordon: Good to see Eilde Canyon is shaping up. Another day or so freezing below 500m (which it def will be!!) and it should be worth a visit. Topo at bigtreecampervans.com. Did you think about doing The Promise (III) on summit buttress after you'd done the ridge. It would make a fine combo with the classic ridge.

All I thought about yesterday was getting the hell outta there when the weather kicked off good and proper!!
But thanks for the suggestion - I'll likely be up that way again this winter either personal or work, will keep it in mind.
