Trying to get spray paint off garden furniture. The paint is kind of peeling, but I was hoping there was some chemical I could use to strip the paint without damaging the plastic. Nitromors?

In reply to Richard Carter:
Don't get Nitromors on a stripper, they'll ban you from the club and probably sue.

I wouldn't use it on anything plastic.

In reply to Richard Carter: Use a blowtorch, it's more eco-friendly.

In reply to Richard Carter: Plastic or Wooden?

If it's wooden, I'd probably just use a scraper (the type intended for tidying up gloss paintwork that takes a stanley knife blade, or just a stanley blade itself would be best), tidy up by gently rubbing with some wire wool and touch up the Oil/Stain if needed.

In reply to Richard Carter: I bought this http://alturl.com/gjscc to remove the paint from my stair case as Nitromors apparently isn't very good.
This stuff works but it stinks, you certainly don't want to breathe it in or get it on your skin.
In reply to KellyKettle:

No it's just plastic. ABS apparently.
