I picked up an ME Kongur MRT last year. In many ways it's a good jacket, but I noticed that the reflective trim around the bottom started falling off almost as soon as I got it home.

Question is, should I try and stick it back down with something or cut it off?

Fairly light usage has made it separate over almost a foot, and it is making it look tatty. First time it catches on something it will probably rip away anyway, so I'm thinking of just taking a pen knife to the stitching.

Any other suggestions?

In reply to davidbeynon: You could but 'tenacious tape' avaialble from most outdoor shops. It's very flexible and very sticky sellotape that is see through. i have used to repair as burn hole in my RAB about 4 years ago and it's still stuck on. Will look a little un sightly but the reflective element shoudl still shine through. Great for repairing taped seams whne they go on jackets or tents.

In reply to faceworker: That looks as though it may be worth a try.

Thanks.
