/ wknd digs in aviemore area
I'm driving so it doesn't need to be doorstep stuff.
Tried the syha hostel?
Hi - We have been heading up that way on an annual basis for a number of years, I can highly recommend the following -
1 - The Typsy Laird Bunkhouse in Newtonmore approx 20-30min drive to Norries carpark but also able to access Creag Meagaidh as well. The bunkhouse is located in the town with local shops on doorstep and is also attached to a bar & restaurant.
2 - Aviemore Bunkhouse is also OK, bar next door and local shops and pubs near by to go gear fondling or get pissed & watch rugby if the weather craps out. Access to Norries is great but a bit of a drive to Meggy.
