My Firefox has just been updated to Version 18 but I see that it's the US version(en-US) Anyone know how I can get the GB version?

In reply to mypyrex:

That's just the language setting.

Go to Tools > options > Content > Languages and change it to English (en)

Or download the English (British) version from here: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/

In reply to Toby S: I've done that, thanks, but I'm still finding it infuriating that I can't seem to get search results specific to the UK. I've just been looking for something and pretty well all the results were US websites. My Firefox is version 18.

Think what they are looking for is the old chose uk sites first.

Once you have hit search you can click on pages from the uk (from the left hand toolbar).

To make it apply across all you can change the search config file to be
http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&meta=cr%...

( as per http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=45878).

Or you could change your homepage (assuming it is google to):
http://www.google.co.uk/webhp?btnG=Search&hl=en&tbo=d&gbv=1&...

the latter wont pick up url bar searches though and all have the disadvantage that depending on their method it may miss out things it shouldnt.
