Climbed the arete in main area in the avon gorge yesterday to find a large loose block just above the first belay. Went back to look at it today and half of it had come down.

In reply to lf12911: There have been a couple of messages about this loose rock. It would be helpful if any issues regarding loose rock etc at Avon could be posted on the ClimbBristol Facebook page. ClimbBristol is the name of the Avon Gorge Restoration Project.

You can't go employing that sort of blanket policy or you'll end up undermining half of Bristol
