Just to make you aware mate the Lowe Alpine airzone 35 can be bought new for £40 from gooutdoors

Whilst TNF nupse can be bought new for £95 at several places...

Whilst the 2 SEASON SLEEPING BAG WITH STUFF SACK is less than £50 on the website you put up and you want £90 plus P+P

TNF duffel bag is also less new than you want and so are a few others.

I do get fed up of people putting second hand gear up for sale where the price has no relationship to its real value. Sorry mate I do hope it was an oversight on your behalf rather than trying to rip people off.

Thanks for your mail. I put up the price of where I bought the gear which admittedly is high given the fact that the shop you mention has a sale on!!!. To ensure you dont stay fed up over a day pack for too long make me an offer and I will consider it.

Just checked prices, the prices I have up are accurate and taken from the north face website so maby you should drop the North face a line and express you concerns with them ripping people off!!!.I think based on that my second hand prices represent good value? If you would like to buy some gear go ahead, if you are not interested then may I suggest a hobby?

Don't know why I'm getting involved... but don't check your prices against North Face website...check them against the high street retailers that 99% of people buy from.
And there's no need to get arsey with someone pointing out that its cheaper new in the shops than your 2nd hand price...people only point it out to you to *help you* sell your gear. Maybe they shouldn't bother, but if I'm selling something second hand that can be bought cheaper new then I'd appreciate someone pointing it out to me. Just my 2 cents.

I just felt your prices were high thats all for second hand stuff if people buy them fine and I didn't mean to upset you but obviously if I was interested in something you were selling (Which I was) I checked the price and found I could get it far cheaper new. MOST people would not pay £180 for a Nuptse and online very few such as Cotswolds and TNF offer it at that price everywhere else its cheaper

Not an expert on selling gear as this is the first time I've sold anything on a forum. As the gear is genuine North Face in excellent condition ( see pics) I kinda thought the logical place to quote prices was from the North face website website.
At the end of the day it's only gear and the true enjoyment is got from being in the mountains using it. It you are interested in something and you feel my price is wrong/ high drop me a line and if we can work something out then great.

Not an expert on selling gear in fact this is the first time I've sold anything on a forum. I quoted North Face prices as the gear is genuine north face in top condition and its where I bought the vast majority of the gear from originally.
If you feel the price is wrong and you are interested in something drop me a line and maybe we can work something out.
At the end of the day it's only gear and enjoyment of the mountains I where the true value exists.

Thats logical if you go by the MSRP (Manufacturers Suggested Retal Price)/RRP (Recommended Retail Price).

Retailers aren't however obliged to sell them at these prices, they pay cost and then sell for whatever margin they can, and in an increasingly competitive market (thanks to t'internet) the margins are getting slimmer, hence why you're suggested prices don't beat current new prices.

Huge amount of barely used gear you're selling though, if I'd used that much stuff so little I'd want as much as possible for it. Good luck.
