Got loads of short vids from Font last year lying on my SD cards and would like to edit them into one long movie....could anyone suggest a good free video editing software other than the standard windows movie maker??

Cheers.

In reply to craig1983: for any meaningful response you'll need to say what format the clips are in.

I find windows movie maker quite good. You can cut clips up and do transitions, add photos and add music

In reply to craig1983: No, but if you do find one better than Movie Maker on a Windows platform for no extra cost, I'd be very interested in hearing about it.

Lightworks is apparently quite good.

You could also download Adobe Premiere, I believe you got a month's free trial before you need to pay for it.

In reply to craig1983: Its £20 but Sony Vegas is just amazing.

All about adobe premier, better to learn a pro level program than faff around with a free consumer one.

In reply to craig1983: Is Vegas really only £20? I'd go that then!

+1. Best bang for the buck you can get IMO.

Avid or FCP for me. Easy enough to get the basics sorted, and it sets you up for much more advanced editing in the future.
