Hey,
I'm heading to Y Garn at the weekend and am wondering what the conditions are like at the minute. Specifically whether crampons are needed or not, the reason I ask is we have a stag do (responsible mountain savvy group, not idiots) but not everyone has axe and crampons.
I'm based in the lakes and I wouldn't head up some of the paths without crampons or axe but others are currently fine with just good boots and common hill sense.
I hope this makes sense, understand I'm happy making decisions on my own but I just want to know about the conditions before I get there.
Thanks
Adam
