I'm sure everyone knows the circumstances of this case but I find myself wondering at the evil blighter's mind set. He commits an atrocious murder; hands himself in at the police station saying he's murdered two coppers, pleads not guilty and then pleads guilty.

Anyone got any thoughts as to how his mind is working?

He's also accused of another gun and grenade attack on Mark Short in the Cotton Tree pub in Droylsden . He is pleading not guilty on that one. Hence the trial continues.
