That is a classic vid love the simplicity & subtle enthusiasm of it remember watching that & another of Mr Smith on a nails problem many years ago its amazing how such short vids can have such an influence & inspiration .

For me I think my fave has to be of Alex Honnold free soloing Moonlight Buttress it still gets me now .

there is another of a Polish dude free soloing a hard route in Italy somewhere I think , thats quite gripping . ( have it on a hard disk somewhere ) .

And the Dave Birkett slot in Psyche captures what its all about for me .

Best ever...not sure. FWIT, I think climbing films have got a bit to go until production quality is up with the top end ski and boarding vids but I still love Set in Stone.

Shortly after it came out, a good friend made an excellent spoof version of this called 'Skelf', (Scottish slang for splinter). Identical scenes, style, content and pieces to camera. The problem itself was slightly different of course, but all the funnier for it. Sadly he didn't want it publicly released

Great shout that Steve , not seen that vid for too long , I love the switch from the slow almost introverted dubby muzak to the month laters f*ck it lets do this vibe of the uptempo funky groove , I think its some of the most effecient clipping I've seen too , Sharma almost floats up the route !

This is my favourite video at the moment, not sure why. Just fills me with a sense of "proper" climbing. I don't think they're sponsored or anything, they're just doing it because it's fun! Some of the runouts are pretty heart-in-mouth as well.
