/ Argentiere Winter Hut
Has anyone stayed in the Argentiere hut winter quarters in the last couple of months? I am interested in what is there in the way of blankets, cooking kit, etc. and so what we should plan on taking up so we don't get cold/ hungry.
When I stayed last winter, there was firewood for the stove and a limited supply of blankets but you needed your own cooking kit.
Whenever the main hut is closed. So in the instance of Argentierre that'd be deep winter, autumn and possibly very late spring/early summer (ie after Haute route season but before normal summer season).
The Argentiere hut is now open, so the winter hut is now closed (the very kind Lady in the OHM phoned up to check a couple of days ago).
