I was listening to Classic FM this afternoon and they played ' Elizabethan Serenade' composed by Ronald Binge.

Now, apart from Binge being the most awful name, the music was beautiful; it had me drifting, dreaming, floating over snow covered mountains and picking and eating wild blueberries. Then somebody banged me on the head and said my phone had been ringing for 10 minutes !

Bollo*ks ! It's only just over 3 minutes long !

If you like Binge, then try Albert W Ketelbey (yes, really!)

I've just been listening to André Rieu's version of 'Elizabethan Serenade' - I think it's rather good !

I don't know why so many classical-music lovers dislike André Rieu ! I play Grade 8 piano and have many musician friends who equally appreciate what André Rieu produces. He has a sound and style that millions enjoy; so what if it is restricted to 'the most popular end of classical-music !
