I liked the comment second from the top - they'll be getting almost cheerful at this rate. I'm not sure if that's a good thing - this is pleasant but doesn't really have a huge impact on me yet. Maybe needs more listens.

In reply to aln: To each their own; this one ain't for me. I've been nodding intelligently to the Portico Quartet. If Tangerine Dream and Radiohead teamed up to play jazz that would appeal to Steve Reich, it might sound like this. You'll probably hate it...

I will get in trouble and lose cred points but hey ho.
Misogyny and swearing abound...but I think it's tongue-in-cheek, like "gay jokes" on Peep Show etc.

Quite liking your OP, so on a similar vein (unlike a few of the follow up posts) I've semi recently discovered Kings of Convenience - simple melodies but beautiful.

But then I've also found Nick Drake. His stuff will probably not be bettered in terms of simplicity and melody for me.

Why do you say that? It's not something I'd buy but I enjoyed it enough to not turn it over if it came on the radio. I preferred the clapping thing, must take a lot of concentration. Although it would have been better if the audience had shut up.

Do you have a lot of cred points? Personally it's not something I care about when it comes to wether or not I enjoy music. The tracks OK, nothing special and the bad boy role playing is pretty tame for rap.

I know, that's when I heard the song I posted. I'd never heard them before.
