I have to say that the local council deserve a big thanks for the fantastic camping facilities they provide and for the way they are kept spotlessly clean. Much respect to them and the responsible users.

Now I understand the sudden onsets of speed. No wonder I couldn't keep/catch up. It was that hat that did it for me :o)
i lived near torridon a few years back for a winter, hung about the area a bit. 'magic' sums it up to me too, in a burst of rare emotive nostalgia.
love the place.
