Heading to Lakes tomorrow for a play on Scout Crag and then up to Jacks Rake.

Does anyone know if its currently snowed and iced over?

Watch out for ice, it's been damp the last couple of days and is getting pretty cold.

Was there 2 weeks ago. It was pretty damp and had a fair amount of wet snow in it. This may well have melted though.

In reply to lanky and weak: it's looking good now, did an over night bicvy there last night and it snowed massively overnight, which couple with the gale force winds made for an interesting night. The rake is superb in these conditions, nice long route with nothing too taxing and great feeling when it's done and You look back at what you just accomplished.
