Beacon Climbing Walls http://www.beaconclimbing.com/walls has just finished construction of the new climbing area at Big Rock Climbing Centre in Milton Keynes http://www.bigrockclimbing.co.uk/
Located behind the main lead climbing walls (known affectionately as The Pit), this new area includes gentle angled top rope climbing and an abseil platform to aid the teaching of correct abseil practice. Check it out on your next visit to Big Rock!
Further developments at Big Rock are on-going and Beacon Climbing Walls will shortly be installing a CrazyClimb http://www.crazyclimb.co.uk facility at the centre as part of the new climbing party zone.
The Big Rock ethos is very much on inclusion and fun for all, and the addition of a CrazyClimb installation will further enhance the climbing centre's offerings, whether for general use, added excitement for children's birthday parties or as part of the exciting corporate training experiences currently available at the centre.
Forming part of the new climbing party zone, Big Rock's CrazyClimb facility will feature 5 different CrazyClimb elements including Aliens, Cannon Balls, Eye Spy (with 2 auto belay units), Speed Climb, and Steering Wheels, with each element offering a completely different and completely crazy climbing experience! Tackle a wall covered with large spinning discs, race the clock on the speed climb, climb aliens by grabbing their nostrils… and more!
