I've got an afternoon to myself in St Anton in a week or so, as I'll be arriving before the rest of the crew. Anything I should look to do - as I'll be on my own nothing too remote but some in-bounds off-piste or itinerary stuff would be good.

I'd stay away from the Sailer Hotel. The owner apparently hates the British.

I'd head for the Rendl side of the valley - quieter, and less tracked, you can often find powder when all of the other side of the valley is knackered. There are some really nice ski routes, as well as some good off-piste (but not "out of sight") routes through the avalanche barriers on the left as you look up.
