Walked from Ponds Forge to work this morning under a corn flower blue sky in cool crisp air feeling the sun on my back, my fingertips tingling with anticipation of Spring time on the grit. Long midge free post work evenings at Burbage or Stannage and pints of Black sheep in the Norfolk arms.

Can't wait!!

Ha a few mornings cycling to work with no gloves on. And last night it wasn't completely dark on my way home

Can't wait for the summer either.

In reply to andic: I walked to work this morning in the snow and it continued to snow for the rest of the day.

I sat outside in the sunshine on my lunch....then the weather gods said "HAHAA YOU MUG!" and it's pissed freezing rain for the remainder of the day

Oh yes, grit in the spring.

But get thee to the Grouse - it's a way better pub than the Norfolk Arms.
