Looking for a sport climbing destination to visit last 2 weeks of August.
Location needs to be abroad, hot and preferably near the sea. Kaly is looking ridiculously expensive for flights in August...
Anyone have any suggestions?

How hot do you want it? many venues will be too hot to climb for most of the day. But if you want a few hours separated by holiday heat, then plenty to pick from.

I've not climbed there yet but do intend to in a few months time . So merely a suggestion . Slovenia .

Looks like flights are around the 200 mark with squeezy jet & the like at the moment .

Worth a look at Malta too possibly . http://www.climbmalta.com/

In reply to cmb621: If considering coming to Malta then given the new route developments recently it would be worth basing yourself in Gozo. Check out www.maltaclimbingclub.com and http://steviehaston.blogspot.fr/2013/03/climbing-on-gozomalte-by-laurence.html

Feel free to contact me if you need any more info.
