Just a quick one to see if anyone can recommend a north wales crag that is very very close to a camp ground. Looking for long easy trad / maybe multi pitch.

Any suggestions well received, Cheers

Little Tryfan http://www.ukclimbing.com/logbook/crag.php?id=490 is an easy crag and right next to a campsite.

Or there is Tremadog and Eric Jones campsite opposite.

In reply to monkeyboy3000: Camp site in Nant Peris is not too far from all the roadside multipitch crags in Llanberis pass. Very regular bus setvice if you dont fancy the walk. Bus service from bangor and caernarfon too.

Have a good one.

In reply to monkeyboy3000: There's a campsite right next to Tryfan. 8 pitch routes on the east face starting at HVD.

In reply to monkeyboy3000: There's a campsite in Llanberis, which puts ya walking distance to the slate quarries

In reply to monkeyboy3000: Another vote for the campsite by Erics Cafe; very very close to a crag and pretty cheap too (around £5 a night).

The only downside is the fact there isn't a pub close; though I suppose the walk to the square in Tremadog isn't too far?

The campsite opposite Vaynol arms in nant peris sounds right up your alley

In reply to Owen W-G: That's a great campsite; fairly close to the crags (short drive or road walk) and vaynol arms is a great pub with nice beer/food!
