/ Who owns what climbing huts?
I have been looking about at different huts across the uk and in particular in the Lakes, now the problem I have is once i have found a hut I can't always find out who owns it. Is there a definitive list anywhere at all?
I have been trying to find who now owns Ruthwaite Lodge, Patterdale for instance and drawing a blank.
Any and all help appreciated
You may be right, I was only going from memory of the last time I walked past. I may be thinking of somewhere else.
Cheers for the link, I've a copy of the list but anything else just seems pretty hap hazard!
Ruthwaite Lodge is owned by the Outward Bound Trust.
PM for more info.
> there are also some owned by the climbers club, frcc, scouts, etc, but are members only (except where mentioned in the BMC list)
The CC ones are not members only, it's not that simple
That's why I said "except where mentioned in the BMC list" :-)
