I am to be referred to a specialist to try to sort out a problem with my toe. I had an operation to clean out the big toe joint about 18 months ago, which has made it worse rather than better. Hence I am now very wary of just going along to the local hospital to see a generalist orthopaedic consultant.
Anybody had any dealings with a foot doctor, preferably specialising in sports (ideally, climbing) injuries who they could recommend? I am in Cumbria but prepared to travel to e.g Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle, Glasgow, Edinburgh.
