SATCOMS For Nepal...Help

I am looking for some sort of satellite link system to send and receive data (emails, pictures and weather forecasts) from a base camp location in Nepal.

Does anybody have any experience of this and could point me in the direction of a cheap but good company?

Any help would be much appreciated.

I did all this in Pakistan last year just using my Thuraya Dual XT phone and a Macbook Air I just bluetoothed my pics and email to the phone and whooshka emailed them. When bored I would update my FB status.
