/ Scarpa—Evolv—Sportiva—C3—B3—ProShell—Rack e.t.c.
I'm going into the green meanie, and so am clearing out bits and bobs in one final block! All of these bits have been collected to either use or in the hope they'd be useful, have either proven their worth and are no longer needed or didn't quite fit.
Tried to be honest with descriptions but if you want more photos of any specific part, please email and request.
I should probably say that I have such a ludicrously large collection of climbing shoes because I live miles from a bloody shop and hence have just bought everything I can find online or off friends to see if it might fit me and suit. The one time I bloody went to v12, I got the wrong size!
Scarpa Instinct Lace Climbing Shoes - 7.5 / 41.5 - £65
Worn once outside, decided half a size too big (ACK!) Literally as new condition - have box
La Sportiva Miura Lace - UK6 / UK40 - £60
Light use, slight discolouration to suede, soles in vgc (I would say <15 days use). Doesnt fit my wide feet. (Have realised these are the version with the old LS logo and XSV rubber - still edges in awesome condition)
Photos on request.
Scarpa Spectro Lace - 7 / 41 - £30
A lucky dip on ebay, half size too big. Soles in good condition, lots of life left
Scarpa Booster - 7 / 41 - £17.50
Again, too big. Running theme here. Slight knick in leather near toes, but a decent amount of life left in sole (less than the spectros)
Evolv Bandit Lace - 9 / 43 - £17.50
Soles as new save knick to rand of one shoe (walking off in the slate, duh) (has been shoe-gooed). If you have good footwork these will last you years still.
5.10 Ascent - 5.5 - £12.50
Some guy threw them in free with the spectro's above; way too small for me or my kin but a great buy for someone with small feet?
Quechua (Decathlon) Slipper - 8 / 42 - £20
Indoor use only, light use, too big for my feet.
RACK / GEAR
Black Diamond Cyborg Pro C2.5 Crampons - £90
Light use (1-2 seasons), with spare frontpoints and tools and parts needed for swap.
Wild Country Chalk Bag - £5
Virtually new - funky leopard print design.
Photos on request.
RockRun Lightweight Chalk Bag - £5
Red, ultra-lightweight but strong.
Wild Country Titan II Screwgates x 2 - £6/each
Barely used, racking marks only. These are the navy and gold ones.
DMM Aero Screwgate - £5
Racking marks only.
DMM Shield Snapgate - Silver - £4
DMM ProWire QDs - 1x12, 1x10, 1x15, 1x20 (I think) - £27.50
Used, not abused. Dyneema in good condition
DMM Pro Wire Snapgate - Silver - £3
Used, not abused
Wild Country Wild Wire Snapgate - Silver - £4
Rossignol Pro Ice B3 Boots - 9.5 / 43.5 - £70
Great boots, waterproof with membrane and insulation. Soles barely worn. Fits the above c2.5's. Slightly half a size too big so my heel rubs.
Berghaus Gore-Tex Gaiters - S/M - £20
Fits my 5'11 32in inseam 80kg leg just fine over vapour rise trousers. Worn once but decided to get some softshell pants. Pretty close/slim fit.
Mountain Equipment (Kongur?) Gore-Tex Pro Shell Salopettes - £90
Bought from the ME factory seconds sale, these have had a professional repair to the ankle (by ME before purchase), and lack the lace clip on the internal gaiters. Beading like new (tried under shower!).
